Understanding Auto-Save & Unfinished Work in FacilityApps
In FacilityApps, all the data that you input in the forms are automatically saved. This feature ensures that your data is not lost when you navigate away from a form or if the app crashes. You can find all your auto-saved forms in the 'Unfinished Work' section under the Menu.
Limitations of Auto-Save
While the auto-save functionality is incredibly useful, it's important to understand its limitations. If you have an auto-saved form in 'Unfinished Work' for a particular site and you create a second form for the same site, the new form will overwrite the existing one. You can prevent this by saving the first version of the form with a name.
Difference Between Auto-Save and Saving a Form with a Name
Manually saved forms and auto-saved forms can be distinguished by their names. The manually saved forms will have a name. You can delete any saved form by pressing the red 'X'.
